Case summaries

ATC was approached by a global pharmaceutical company to develop a trade compliance strategy that would optimize different free trade agreements in the region for its Asia-Pacific operations. Our consultants developed a clear implementation roadmap identifying alternative sourcing, hubbing, and distribution channels that provided up to 10 percent in duty savings for its products.

A Nordic trade group commissioned the ATC to analyze the potential impact of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) on their domestic seafood industry. Our team uncovered specific challenges and opportunities for seafood exporters by analyzing the implications of the rules of origin, preferential tariffs, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, and technical barriers to trade under RCEP.

As the secretariat of the Asia Business Trade Association, the ATC, in partnership with a leading education and qualifications service provider, conducted a three-month learning program for entrepreneurs across the region. Our consultants provided technical expertise in designing and executing the program to upskill MSMEs and provide more efficient staff management during times of crisis.

ATC developed a market report on opportunities for women exporters from Canada seeking to enter key sectors in Singapore, namely professional services, cleantech, consumer goods, digital media, information and communication technology, fintech, artificial intelligence, creative industries, and agri-food. Our team also identified recommendations on how their firms can meet relevant regulatory requirements.

A global luxury goods distributor commissioned ATC to develop a regional FTA optimization strategy. Our consultants performed a strategic supply chain and trade compliance process diagnosis of the firm and supported the implementation of a direct consignment distribution model for key products covering 20 percent of potential tariff savings.
